is Included?

- Academic program of courses taught by Southern California Foothills Consortium faculty
- Four nights in Madrid: Three nights accommodation in Madrid at the beginning of the program and one night prior to departure. Accommodation in twin and triple occupancy rooms in a centrally located hotel with a daily breakfast.
- Sightseeing tours and excursions to the Prado Museum and the Palacio, Toledo, the Cathedral-Sacristy
- Two group meals in Madrid
- Group transfer from Madrid to Salamanca, escorted by AIFS Salamanca Programme Co-ordinator.
- Academic program courses taught by the Southern California Foothills Consortium faculty.
- Orientation programme in Salamanca, consisting of an evening tapas welcome reception, walking tour of Salamanca and Spanish classes
- Social and cultural program. An eleven-week social and cultural programme (trips to museums, historical/cultural sites, cinema, sporting events).
- Meals included: Two meals per day (breakfast and lunch or dinner), five days per week and breakfast at the weekends in homestay accommodation. Welcome and a farewell group meal.
- Housing in Spanish homestays in Salamanca (two students per homestay sharing a twin room), includes weekly laundry service, or accommodation in an apartment with cooking facilities and television on a shared basis.
- Spanish Culture and Civilization Course (Art, History, Literature, Culture).
- Day trips to Segovia/Avila and El Escorial/Valley of the Fallen.
- Spanish courses at specified levels of Spanish
- Access to the AIFS Student Services Office in Salamanca providing on site student information and support from experienced, full time AIFS Staff.
- E-mail/Internet access for general use.
- Medical and program fee refund, insurance policies.
