Who is Eligible?

Students enrolled in community colleges in the state of California who have completed a minimum of 12 college level units with a 2.5 GPA and are accepted for admission by one of the sponsoring colleges.

Prior study of the French language is not required, but students may choose to study this during the program.

Students must maintain a full-time academic courseload of a minimum of 12 units from the range of courses offered.

U.S. passport holders do not require a visa to enter France for a period not exceeding 90 days (the length of this program). Students who are not U.S. nor European Community passport holders should check visa requirements with the local French consulate.
