What is Included?
- Academic program of courses
relevant to the UK and Europe taught by California Community College
faculty and local guest lecturers.
- Housing: twin room in a homestay in a residential neighborhood
of London, with breakfast five days per week. For a supplemental
fee, housing in a shared apartment is available. The apartment
option does not include any meals.
- Orientation program including student and academic orientation
meetings and half-day sightseeing tour of London.
- London transport travel pass valid on the underground
and buses in the Central Zone and for travel to and from accommodation
provided by AIFS.
- Membership of the University of London Student Union
giving access to student clubs and societies and low cost sports
facilities and cafeterias.
- Membership to local libraries.
- British Life and Culture course focusing on the historical,
political, economic and cultural aspects of contemporary Britain,
including six lectures and six related activities.
- Access to AIFS Student Center providing on-site student
information services from a team of experienced, full time AIFS
staff.
- Program of extracurricular activities including day trips
to Cambridge, Greenwich, Stonehenge/Salisbury and Stratford-Upon-Avon,
